Soggy Cornflakes

Music and Lyrics by Tim Nelson

Each and every morning, sitting at the table
In the middle of the table is a bowl of corn flakes
But before I can eat them the telephone rings
A guy I don't even know tries to sell me things
I cut him off but it's much too late
Now my corn flakes don't look so great

'Cause they're soggy cornflakes
It's not surprising they're unappetizing
They are soggy cornflakes
What can I do?

Each and every morning, sitting at the table
In the middle of the table is a bowl of corn flakes
But before I can eat them there's a knock at the door
I get up. There is someone I've never seen before
He says he's going to save my soul
But before I can get him to go

I've got soggy cornflakes
It's not surprising they're unappetizing
'Cause they're soggy cornflakes
What can I do?

Soggy cornflakes
It's not surprising they're unappetizing
Soggy cornflakes
What can I do?
